the sausage sandwich game

Good afternoon Fabbers and Friends.

Pooch and I are perched high on our favourite hill.

Just been listening to the Danny Baker pod caste.

For those of you familiar with his wireless show they play a weekly game. A celebrity is asked what they would add to their sausage sandwich

Red sauce

Brown sauce

Or

No sauce at all.

So todays question from Pooch ad I is

What do You have on your sausage sandwich?

Have fun chums

Taff and Pooch

Red sauce boys

"Is brown a mainly northern thing and red a southern one?"

Its all a matter of choice , im a Taff and in the North of Wales but it has to be red sauce or Sauce Coch as we call it here

Sos Coch

Gan Tudur Dylan Jones

Dwi’n rhoi sos coch ar bopeth,

AR BOPETH, wir i chi,

Ac mae pawb yn dweud fy mod-i,

Yn bwyta’n ych a fi!

Dwi’n cael sos coch i frecwast,

Gyda fy tost a wy,

A’i fwyta’n syth o’r botel-

Blob mawr o flaen fy llwy!

Dwi’n rhoi sos coch ar bopeth,

AR BOPETH, wir i chi,

Ac mae pawb yn dweud fy mod-i,

Yn bwyta’n ych a fi!

Tomato Sauce (English translation)

I put tomato sauce on everything,

Honestly, ON EVERYTHING!

And everyone tells me,

That my eating habits are disgusting!

I have tomato sauce with my breakfast,

With my toast and egg,

And straight from the bottle-

A huge blob on my spoon!

I put tomato sauce on everything,

Honestly, ON EVERYTHING!

And everyone tells me,

That my eating habits are disgusting!

Brown! Bloody heathens...

Or ENGLISH Mustard if the breads toasted.

Red sauce is for Chippy Chips, Fish Finger sarnies or tattie fritters and it HAS to be Libbies - none of that other crap - not even Heinz
