"i keep warm by working out. rowing machine and lifting some weights and i dont feel the cold." I shiver like a girl under a blanket. I don't do cold. Win the lottery and run off with a woman to a warm place. *Cue dream sequence* Side note, also check your rads are working/balanced properly, can really keep the house a lot warmer with less gas!

"wait until jan. look at the bloody petrol prices now ffs!" i seem to recal mr camarmoron saying in his manifesto that if petrol prices rose to a high level he would cut the tax on it to bring the price down.this will be proved to be yet another uturn from a party that couldnt beat a labour party that was dead on its feet.

"We're paying about £300 per month for gas and electric ... and no, we don't live in a mansion " Fekkin 'ell.... our monthly average for gas is £13.50 a week for gas, and about £10 a week leccy..... £95 quid total for the month.... and I think we can cut that with some improvements in insulation etc...... we must be doing summat right!!!

"We're paying about £300 per month for gas and electric ... and no, we don't live in a mansion " If that is mains gas then you seriously need to get that restructured....I live in a large house and our bill is at least a third, maybe more cheaper than that.

"I'm all electric here" We're also all electric, no gas pipes, this year we've had the heating on more then usual, I expect our bill to probably double through the winter months

"iv got a pay as you go meter and put £20 on friday and its gone already had to put another £20 on today just to last till friday its costing me far to much " I just recently exchanged my pay as you go gas meter for a normal meter as I had been paying £30-£40 a week in gas to heat my 3 bed terrace house. It's extortionate! Apparently they charge more for pay as you go gas! Hopefully I won't be paying out as much now!
