Edinburgh

Of the TV variety!!

Specifically crime related drama is my favourite.

Tonight I shall be watching Unfortten on STV (that's like ITV but Scottish ) at 9.00pm.

I'm hoping for more than the Doc Foster drama provided. Incidentally I watched From Darkness on BBC on Sunday night and quite enjoyed that too. On iPlayer if anyone missed it and wants to catch up.

Does anyone have any other recommendations for good crime drama...

If you haven't seen the original than The Bridge was amazing. And I love Spiral (plus it has taught me some excellent filthy French phrases).

Hit and Miss.

I really enjoyed 30 Degrees in February but it's not crime, just a drama.

I also enjoyed The Casual Vacancy. Again, more of a drama.

Fwiw, I thought that was utter bilge.

Final two as I'm just spamming now - Olive Kitteridge and The Affair. Again, not crime dramas but incredible viewing. Think they're two of my favourites from the past few months.

It'd be boring if everyone in the world shared the same interests

3 words: Line. Of. Duty.

Definitely the best TV Police drama of recent years. I *think* the third series is due this Autumn so hopefully any time soon??

Has anyone watched The Blacklist? Wondering if it's any good and worth a go.

I like it. But I adore James Spader so that may colour my perception.

Is it comparable to anything else?

It's got a quite unique premise and the arc plot starts to take over more, so in that sense and the strong female lead it reminds me of Fringe (which I loved). If that makes any sort of sense?

ooh yeah but go right back to Series 1 and start there or it probably won't make proper sense! New series starting very soon!
