Ive been not in a relationship or proper relationship of the romantic kind for 13 months...since me an my ex husband split up...an friends think its about time i date. .There trying to set me up with a so called nice guy lol..im nearly at the end of a divorce im awaiting the decree absolute an then im properly divorced finally..

i know they mean well my friends..im just not ready to date an dont want a relationship esp the romantic kind as yet..im happy as iam..i love nsa fun an its non pressured..The thing is they dont know im on here lol im not sure how to tell my friends i prefer the nsa lifestyle an prefer just a male friend that just sees me for nsa fun

The guy my friends are trying to set me up with . Is good looking but i dont want the lovey dovey holding hands etc an being set up with him

im wondering do i tell my friends i have a nsa life style an i love that life style or do i not tell them. Its tricky an a dilema or do i just go on the date with the guy there trying to set me up with an go along with it

Tricky one....I'd say it depends on how confident you feel about telling them...if you're not ready for that, maybe just tell them you're not up for that with him, not ready to date yet...

If you're happy with your lifestyle how it is and confident enough to say it, then go for it

You could always do the middle of the road thing and say you're seeing someone quietly but not looking for a full on relationship with anyone yet...it's too soon for you..

I'd go on the date personally, just to see what he was like.

Just tell them you're not looking for commitment as yet and leave it there

Go on the date, drop into conversation your NSA lifestyle and you could be a winner!

They don't mean well, they're trying to make you as miserable as them

Only joking. Just say you don't fancy the guy enough

Nothing to lose by going, so go but just be clear. Might even be able to add him to your NSA list.

No need to explain that you are on here. Just that you're in a good place and will do things at your own pace

Just go on the date. ..it'll shut them up and you might even enjoy it. No need to say anything about being on here or your preference for nsa sex unless you feel like sharing details of your sex life with everyone.

I wouldn't go on the date if I knew I had absolutely no intention of it going anywhere at all. I'm not looking for a relationship at the mo so would be pointless going on a regular date.

I'd say it depends on whether your friends are more prurient or puritan, but if I'm honest I would always worry about mixing the two parts of our life.

Sadly couples often view singles with suspicion, and though of course they may purely be well-meaning, you should still make it clear that you are happy as you are.

That said, why not go on a night out with him anyway? You don't have to tell him about your lifestyle, and he too may be happy with simply a friend whom he sees for nsa.

Or you could invite him, all your friends, and a bunch of us swingers to a divorce party at yours

Mr ddc
