"I find it funny =] plus, it kinda forces them to be a TAD more creative with their opening mssg. Ive seen one profile say "for the record, Im fine, Im going to be fine, my weekend was fantastic....to save you asking" :D Love it " I find those kind of profiles bloody rude. Is that how they speak to colleagues when they ask them if they've had a good weekend?

"It really bugs me when women put in there profiles not to start your messages with Hey , hello, hi, how are you , how was your weekend or how was your day , but surely these are polite ways of starting off a conversation with somebody, rather thank wanna fuck !!!" Indeed. It would be fantastic if the women that have profiles like that would get off their thrones and make an effort instead of waiting for others to bow to them. Won't ever happen though.

" We chat to each other when we have time about the things happening in our lives and then enquire about how they went later. They are friends and colleagues, not people I'm looking to have sex with. A 'how's your weekend going' message here is at best, pointless because if I don't reply, they come on here moaning that they don't get replies. If it's a profile I like, I'm disappointed that's all they can come up with because, without fail, if I reply, they have nothing else to say.

Like tens of thousands of people, I work weekends and most holidays in a thankless organisation doing a job I adore so occasionally, after a 13 hour shift with no breaks and a rinse and repeat cycle for four days makes me want to bite when I get a message like that. For me that's the start and end of the conversation if they hadn't read my profile, after a while, it got annoying so they just got deleted without being read

Yes there are a lot of women on here that demand you get creative. How creative or exactly what they want you won't know. Basically, OP just be yourself. Send out whatever kind of message YOU want. You're going to get a million rejections anyway. Maybe just try and make your messages a bit interesting and be true to yourself. I basically ignore any demanding profiles telling me what I shouldn't write if I want to avoid a block or a delete. I'm writing some bollocks to a random woman on Fab I like the look of, not the Queen. Sod that! Very unattracive. I quite happily wait for them to message me. Yes, women can SEND messages you know. A lot of them just haven't realised it yet

"I don't think a hi how are you is wrong. If that is how they start a conversation then fine. I don't demand men write to me in a certain way. I don't follow instructions on what others want me to say either. If I like the look of a profile I will message back. I don't expect anyone to follow a set of rules. Conversation will flow naturally if you have a rapport "
