No, not a reference to the posh seats on an aircraft, but a reference to an episode in Doctor Who where a decision to either turn left or right at a traffic junction dramatically alters the course of history

Have you ever had a major decision to make that could have gone either way and, just for fun, how would that have changed your Fab life and life in general?

For me straight after uni I had 2 equally enticing job offers - one in London, one in Manchester. I chose London, but had I chosen Manchester I reckon I would have ended up shacked up and married to Suranne Jones, and I'd be her sub and regularly paraded around on a leash at the Townhouse, and our kids would be called Liam and Noel and support Man City

What is your life changing event and how does your Fab life pan out?

My big life decision was probably to move to the UK and for Marc to take the job here over a different one in the US.

If we had remained in the US I would never have found fab. We would have become a version of a 1950s American couple with a white picket fence. But I would have spent my free time watching threesome porn and masturbating to group sessions online.

Yes. I was unhappy in my marriage and met someone at work who offered me the chance to start a new life with him in London. I stayed, had children and left him anyway, eventually. It was my turning left moment.

Why did you decide to move here?"

The job had more "potential for growth" or whatever. Answer the OP

Ok, I'll play alone.

Another big decision was going to law school. I could have become a stripper instead. In which case I also wouldn't have found fab and I would probably be doing lap dances for $60 in some skeevy New York strip club.

My turn left moment was walking away from a legal career in the city and retraining for my current role. I took a massive pay cut but it was the best thing I ever did.

Choices that seem insignificant at the time can also be turn left moments. I decided to buy a packet of crisps instead of looking behind me. Had I have looked, I just might have seen that time traveller who was destined to go back in time and kill my grandfather. Oh, erm, fizz, sparkle, kerpoof.

True. I reckon I'd have been a partner by now. I remind myself of this the day before the mortgage is due most months...

That sliding doors moment? So many of them! If I hadn't gone into Yates that morning I'd never have met my ex and have 4 wonderful kids... The major choice was after finishing training I could've bought into a house share in Leeds and joined a touring company or gone into a popular Yorkshire drama. Instead I chose to come home and build up some cash behind me to move to London where the good work is...
