I was just chatting to a chap in work who has just came back from Thailand and we were disgusing lady boys his view was they were chicks with dicks and I just said no they are men with tits.

i wasn't trying to offend him I thought it was just a general chat and a bit of banter but he took it a little serious and got a little aggressive so what's your thoughts With out trying to look homophobic .

what's your option ??

Some people say there are three genders personally I do not go along with that

I have a few views and theories but I have learnt by now to keep them to myself on such subjects because no matter what I say half the forum will try to shoot me down

Especially in somewhere like Thailand it is a difficult one. Whilst some of them are sufferers of gender dysmorphia and will be considering gender reassignment it is my understanding that many undergo hormone tratments and surgery purely to meet the demands of sex tourists. One of the problems reported is that those truely suffering gender dysmorphia can get economically trapped in a pre-op condition as progressing further can lose them thier income.

Personally I wouldn't be too concerned as to what gender they were born as and more as to what their reasons for the current gender choices and where they see their life leading.

Gender and sex are two different things, in my opinion.

Their sex depends on their genitalia. So if they have dicks, I'd day they are men in dresses.

Their gender depends on what they associate as. That is up to them completely.

But honestly, I don't really care at all. Live and let live, as they say.

I heard recently that there are considered to be up to six, yes six genders identifiable at the moment. I believe that transexual is one and that androgeny is another. A transexual is just that. If you're unsure as to what they identify with then I would say politely ask. Giving them labels just makes people look ignorant and stupid
