Why are there so many time wasters on here? Why can't people just say they don't want to meet up and I won't even get into the ones who clearly only post pics on here for attention

weve been called timewasters just for saying no to someone, so it depends what each persons idea of one is, although most peoples view of one is from a bitter point of view.

Unfortunately it happens. Were they well verified and did you chat on the phone? I always meet locally for a quick coffee when on my break, I'd be in the café anyway so no problem if people choose to bottle it however in 5 years, only had one no show with no contact/explanation. "
one was verified, after they didn't show I checked n it was mutual verifies (I check this ever since) I'm newish to this site so I'm still learning haha

In the whole time I've messed around in this crazy world I've never had a no show not once mind you first meet is always a social drink or coffee date no sex no expectations affair .

Lucky 2/3 for me have been no shows

....and perhaps those that post pictures to get attention are using fab in the way that they like and might even think that some single bloke who pester them for a meet is a timewaster! Nothing is guaranteed on fab - particularly a free fuck - it's all part of the game.

My profile explains more than once that I am not meeting and even explains why but I still get asked to meet all the time. I have been called a time waster but if people cant be bothered to read my profile it is not my problem. I also do not put pictures up just for attention. I put mine up to show people what I have to offer when I decide to start meeting again.xx

So what is to stop people assuming you're only here to post photos? How do you know that's all they're here for? Just because they don't want to meet you doesn't make them time wasters.

Funny enough i don't think there are as many out here as it is made out to be (but yes they do exist)

i've been asked to meet on a certain day before and when i can't due to work or kids i am labelled a timewaster and this is happening alot more now a days people can't meet for good reasons and there called timewaster

Exactly! So if others want to waste their time posting photos etc...

No shows aren't great at all. It would piss me off if I made plans with anyone and they didn't turn up. But I guess you can moan about it or you can move on and try to find someone who will turn up!

As you say op, you're learning.

My advice is that if only you are travelling and they're meeting by their place, is to request confirmation updates through the day. This could hint at those who are not committed and save your lost time etc.

Report all such users to Admin, even if they have blocked you. This helps keep site standards higher. .

You'll become more expert over time, judging who's reliable or not.

Otherwise emergencies do crop up but most decent people will let you know that something's up. If they're racing to ER etc it's harder but they would likely let you know as soon as they can.

I'm very new here and am yet to meet anyone or become verified. I have sent messages,and have received only 2 replies. However,i think of no reply as a reply,so i don't pester people. Pics on profiles are good,regardless of whether they meet or not,it's good to see who's out there. But if a meet has been arranged,i would find it rude if they didn't reply at some point to say sorry. It looks like a fun site,but i would still appreciate good manners.

If I've arranged to meet someone at a specific time & place & I go there & they don't turn up & don't give a reason why they haven't, then they are a timewaster.

If someone posts pics on here for attention, then no, they are not a timewaster

I look at that as the selection process.

Appreciate the 2 above comments sadly and maybe its me being sad there are some people who waste time not the ones who when you contact say a polite know because we all know peoples tastes are different. I do think that if you are a genuine couple you stand more chance or for that matter a single girl (always in demand) You know it is more difficult for the single male and I make no apology to those who don't read profile and needs and wants who pretend to want to meet but somehow never get around to it.... Quite and emotive issue don't you think Personally I admire those who do publish there face photos.

My definition of a timewaster is someone that doesn't show up (unless their is a good reason obviously!) and doesn't tell you.

The amount of blokes I've chatted to about meeting but something stops me, I could be classed as one I guess but if I actually arranged a time and place I would always be there, of course.

That be said very early on, I've also chatted to blokes about a spur of the moment meet (I don't mean that second but later that night) and after chatting some more something in my gut telling me it isn't the right thing to do, usually they are meets that occur outside, so yeah I come up with an excuse (well before we've arranged a place and time) but that is rare and for blokes I've been chatting to for one evening, now I'm more selective and I don't even attempt to arrange something like that
