Google reverse image

I'm pretty certain a photo of someone on a different site is not of the person. But it hasn't come up on Google reverse images.

Is there any other way of checking?

Ask the person to confirm their identity. A time stamped photo, web cam, meet.

Have you tried Tineye? Maybe that will pick up something not showing on reverse search.
