"Bristol is a snow free zone, it keeps teasing us, but never shows up bloody timewaster !!"

I seriously think we're in the twilight zone. Every single part of the country has had it now. Friends of ours, 35 miles away in Somerset had a few inches (ooerr lol) today.

If I don't wake up to snow in the morning, i'll be very disappointed

Woken up to about five inches of snow. First time this week we have left our car on our drive (which we cannot get off of when it snows). Bloody marvelous, and this according to the BBC weather site is supposed to be "a light dusting". Would hate to see a heavy downfall then!!! GGGGRRRRRRRRR

Can't believe some people, everyone told its going to snow and not too travel yet they still think they are invincible!!! Leave them stuck in their cars I say. We've had 9 inches here in mid devon, I'm all stocked up 9 miles from nearest town 4 miles from nearest gritted road.

Please be sensible out there peeps!!!

Yay, I woke up to snow here too!

I'd used Metcheck to see if I needed to park my car somewhere other than the parking space directly outside my house as it slopes forwards and I've got a rear-wheel drive car. Last night it said there'd be no snow till this afternoon so I didn't move my car... D'oh!

It is a blizzard here. Just had a friend from site complain about his meet being snowed in, I'd already told my meet if it snowed don't look for me, so not bothered!

Ex went to take his mother shopping, both now stuck at hers, snowed in!!!

We're in London, not the outer Hebrides for crying out loud and everything has halted again!!

We have a good 6 inches here that has fallen since this morning.

I left the house at 10am, struggled 3 miles to the M40. Heard it was closed so struggled 5 miles to Tesco. Spent 30 minutes in Tesco and got home 5 hours after I set out!!

Loving the 4x4 though, got it just in time

we've got a proper 4x4 pickup truck with knobbly tyres on it so it takes a lot of snow to keep us indoors, got mates over tonight but mart has to go out and fetch them, even so its the other traffic thats the problem, we took to the fields last time as the roads were all blocked with cars stuck in the snow.

Mart had a few people approach him for a tow last time he was out, but when he asked for money and an insurance waiver in case of damage they all declined.

That was our problem today. The Rav handled the snow brilliantly however the traffic was the problem.
