Great Wyrley

So, after 18 months of using a coffee machine it developed a fault.

I couldn't find the details, but having purchased from a largazon online retailer I rang them to see if they knew what the manufacturers guarantee was. Was it one year or two and did they have any details of who I should contact?

Not to worry said the person on the end of the phone. We will be offering a two year guarantee soon. Let me see what I can do he said. Yup, I can offer a full refund said he just return the faulty one to us with the pre paid postage label.

Cool!

So, I ordered the new coffee machine.

It came. It works. It's great it err makes my coffee.

I returned the faulty machine no prob.

Sitting here chilling, bong goes the iPad. I have an email.

I opens the email and it's the large online retail company telling me they're refunding me for the new coffee machine I have not long purchased.

Now me being an honest old soul I will eek it out until Monday feeling like I got a free coffee machine but then I'll ring them and tell them there's a mistake.

My question is................would you do the same?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Are you saying they have given you a free machine and a cash refund?

I wouldn't do the same... but only because I don't drink coffee so wouldn't have a coffee machine.

I'd let them know.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Vodafone once posted me 2 upgrade phones.

They had the same delivery note number, so one went on ebay.

I'd have probably struggled to convince them that they'd sent two, but I admit I didnt try

Aberdeen

For small independent companies I would always come clean. But to the large retail chains then no, I'd use my free machine and use the refund to treat a sexy person to coffee and cake!

I'd probably own up or it would prey on my mind.

I would own up, technically it's theft otherwise.

Not enough honest people in this world I recently got cash back at self service machine in asda. I forgot the cash as it comes out by your knees. Rang the store when I realised but someone took it. I do t know how people don't have a conscience these days

I once joined a Christmas wine club.

12 bottles of wine for £50 and a free 12 too

After waiting two weeks and no delivery, contacted them and said not received

They offered to resend another 2 cases

In the new year, looking out the window into the empty neighbours back yard I discovered two cases of wine peeking out from under the snow. I had to rescue them
