Take shoes off and run. Make sure you miss any dog poo, chewing gum or glass

It's meant to help them over time, more natural ect, worth a shot (because I'm tight, good trainers cost a fortune! Lol)x

Try the vibram five fingers

I over pronate and get plantar fasciatis

Tried minimalist shoes a couple of years ago and just didn't suit my gait.

But give it a go

St Peter Port

You need to have a phyio , osteopath or podiatrist check your feet first. Going from running in trainers ( often with some mild heel ) to bare feet can be problematic x

Titz Towers, North Notts

I can remember Zola Budd doing it, but I can't recall if she ever won much.

They say it's the best thing to do - as long as the ground is nice and smooth and has no lego blocks on it or anything - you'll be fine!

I cant be assed to google it, but this has been debunked and proven to cause more damage than normal running shoes.

Both for and against seem quite passionate, and both sides dismiss the others findings, hence wondering what people's actual experiences are, as I filled my head too much googling!

Rely on independent research results. Not on anecdotal stories or 'research' from self interested parties.

I looked at it out of curiosity once. It's not for me though keeping feet covered less of the time generally may be a good thing for many.

If you are going to run barefoot, do it on sand. It will be safer for your feet and a better workout for you
