Anyone have a smart watch?

I got bought an LG r smart watch for Christmas and at first I thought it was going to be a waste of time and would end up in a draw somewhere like every other watch I've ever had but I find I'm wearing it every day.

It's useful for Google maps when I'm out and about and want to keep my phone in my bag.

It's also good for when I get a text and want to have a quick glance without pulling my phone out.

If I was to nit pick I would say it's a little bulky and the screen is a bit pixelated but other than that I think it's great.

Does anyone else have one and if so why did you get it and do you find it more or less useful than you thought

Don't see the point in them myself, it does the same things my phone does so I use the phone instead of another overpriced gadget.

If it did something the phones doesn't then it might be a different story.

Agree. If it was an independent gadget, I might be more interested but as I understand it, you still need a phone/PC/tablet on for them to work.

As I said I thought mine was going to end up in a draw.

I think it's because of the job that I do having a quick glance at the watch while I'm putting somthing through the till is better than pulling out my phone which doesn't look great when your in front of customers

What I ment is a quick glance at my wrist is alot better than pulling out my phone.

Like the look of the them but they are too new and unexpected, plus too expensive

Same as the Bluetooth headset in a short time they will be a lot cheaper and most people will have one, I'll get one then

I've not seen much point for me in having one. I've too many tech gagdets.

I want to cut down on laptops, tablets, phones etc that are carted about. I just want a phone that will do everything I need.
