Thinking of signing up for one tomorrow but not sure if it's for me!

Does anyone else do one?

I don't think they do a taster session.

Have done a bums, legs and tums and a Zumba class and found them surprisingly easier than I thought so I want to push myself a bit harder.

Good luck! You'll probably ache like hell the next day and vow 'never again'! but keep at it and each time it will be easier! No pain, no gain!

I love them, I have a high cadence when I cycle so spin is a good part of my training.

I prefer the straight forward spin classes. Some instructors try an add exercises such as cycling with one leg whilst stood up; I don't like this as it puts pressure on the knees and can cause injuries.

Choose a class, speak to others in the class first though to make sure you'll like it, then give it a go - remember, the instructor will tell the class to turn up the resistance on their spin bikes by a curtain amount, take this as guidance only and add just as much as you can manage or don't even add any if you're hurting.

Have fun.

Just realised OP that you're in the Bristol area - that's where I do my spin class - could even be the same place; I'll keep a lookout for you

Point Nemo, Cumbria

I knew a woman once who took spin classes - she now calls herself fabulous.

I used to. Id reccomend it as they are short but high intensity and very effective!
