On paper I'm not supposed to be fanciable but I've met some totally gorgeous men who didn't see that.

Me too. A woman can be fit as fuck but if you've got no personality or sense of humour you won't turn me on. Things that wobble, stretch marks, wrinkles are sometimes the cutest parts of a woman.
