Not sure exactly how long it's been now but getting on for 2 yrs smoke free now. best thing I ever did and that's coming from a 40 a day man who started at about 12/13. It's fucking hard work but worth it. Good luck to all who go for it

A friend of mine gave up with the aid of champix. That was about six years ago. She was a pretty heavy smoker and had smoked for over thirty years. With champix she gave up in two weeks and has never looked back.

Some people do have trouble with it though, so watch out for the side effects.
