It was necessary - a flat and 3 worn out tyres. A financial hit I don't need. Safe driving though.

Its the only thing that is in contact with the road. What price do you put on safety and possibly your life?

I always use Event Tyres. They come to you and the tyres are always cheaper than KF

I used one of those places for two front tyres a while ago and I'll never go back. The bloke reckoned he didn't have what I wanted (same as last time) but did have.....you guessed it......slightly more expensive ones. The road noise was awful from them and I was glad when I moved on to the next set.

I'm sorry but people who use them deserve to get spanked. There is always an alternative.

Next time order them through black circles and get them fitted at the independent specialist that they recommend

To be fair, you said one puncture and three low tread.

If it is the nearest place for your puncture then yeah you would have to use them, but I would have shopped round for the rest. It does seem steep

used black circle when i put 4 new ones on my old Audi, they were delivered to where i wanted and the price was reasonable..

hindsight is a skill most of us don't possess..

and i would never put cheap tyres on any car, its too risky..

bit of a bummer Steve with the price but its sorted now before the winter..

Anyone who has been driving for any length of time should know an alternative to Kwik fit. It is their policy to say the other three tyres need changing and always rip people off if they can. Does your car have a spare Steve?
