The land of grey peas and bacon

I have to say I have the most supportive, awesome manager ever...currently involved in a bit of a nightmare case to do with my job and she has done nothing but be so supportive

Do you have a good manager or one that you would like to strangle?

My manager is extremely good to me; mostly leaves me alone and tolerates my shit.

She's a train wreck, as a human being, but she's good to me

I'm my own manager. Of sorts. Unless I drop a bollock the size of America I pretty much get away with anything. Worked hard to get here mind

No, I have to regulate, praise, and punish myself.

I'm firm but fair.

Chams or Socials

My last manager was truly vile. And I told her so at my leaving lunch

My new manager is lovely but recently found out he's started a relationship with my (non-work) friend!!!

Same. Self-employed but I have other jobs.

The managers of those other jobs are very supportive though and give me time needed to pursue other ventures!

My last boss was mental. I had an accident while at work had to have some time off so she plastered personal details of mine all over social media.

A previous manager was asked if she thought it was important to have happy staff, her response was "no, it makes no difference"

Mine can be a wanker. Slightly disturbed by the fact he has just followed my naughty twitter account

When I worked as a manager for an insurance broker, I was fair, rewarded good hard work from my own pocket, lead by example and got my hands dirty by getting stuck in with the sales workload along with all my other duties.

Now I am my own boss and I am a real twat with myself

I have A love hate relationship with mine, she was so supportive of me when my marriage broke down and had helped me so much, admittedly she can worry over crap that we wouldn't normally worry about but if I had such a big place on my shoulders, I'd probably be the same, she gets on my nerves sometimes but she just wants good results

My old manager was unsupportive. my new manager is even worse so much so I'm looking for a new job which is upsetting as I used to love it but I can't carry on working with such bad staffing levels and lack of support as I feel I can't do my job properly

Please don't rub it in that you are blessed with a good manager, the company I work for has the worst I have ever known.

My previous manager was more concerned with kissing director arse then her staff. You never got a direct answer, she had to run everything past her manager. No one trusted her. She was practically ghosted to a random way out office with a previously unheard of title.

Our new manager is so different it's unreal. He manages from afar and let's us make our own decisions. Basically his motto is 'if I can't question your results, I won't question your methods.' It's brilliant, if a little difficult to get used to.

I'm my own Manager, and sometimes I really get on my nerves, and I'll tell myself one day, I'm not scared of me.
