Still a popular brand up here in the North, ostensibly marketed at anyone with an active lifestyle...the old skiing connection was lost when they were taken about 5 years ago. It's one of the few surviving fashion brands in our town.

I skiing friend of mine bought Fat Face gear one year. It was way over-priced in terms of value for money, performance, quality of stitching, wind resistance and water proofing. It lasted him two separate weeks in the one season. Not worth the money at all IMHO. I buy SOS gear, costs a little more but lasts for years.

Animal is so new kid on the block though. FF may have sold the brand out but the ethos still remains and a lot of the stuff they sell is good and quality made. The authentic FF tee is still available? Wow! I wonder how much an original would fetch in a retro clothing shop
