I have given up with winks as the last five I responded too my message was deleted without reply. I am now treating it as they pressed it by accident. What is your take on them? Do you like or ignore them? Have you had success?

The right place

A few meets have started from exchanging winks. Which the turned into exchanging messages and pics and eventually great sex. So I like winks.

We consider all winks and respond to those we like. BUT it usually takes us weeks to do so. Got some on there from at least 4 weeks ago that are people we want to get to know better but haven't sat down and initiated the conversation yet.

some have turned into chat or meets ,there are some serial winkers out there lol if some are getting a lot I can see why they ignore its a bit like the "hi" or "how are you?" mail some times you cant be arsed to answer

Some people ignore them altogether....

But if someone responds to your wink...

They are probably more like the person you want to chat to....

The amount of times i have taken the trouble to write a nice informative message......and then recieve a reply like ..."how big is your cock"

So if it filters out replyers like that.....i'm all for winks x

If someone winks I'll wino back if I'm interested. If I read there profile I'll also message. If there's an incompatibility say for example they won't meet smokers I'll just do the wink. Leave it to them if they want to message.

I think winks are a good thing. It just lets people know you have looked at there profile and pics and liked what you saw x

They probably work better for guys because we don't get as many as women and couples. Hence a guy is more likely to send a message saying 'thanks for the wink… fancy a fuck' kind of thing.

I rarely check mine because I use a desktop most of the time, so don't always know I have received them. If I send them, it is usually by mistake.

I get a few...I always acknowledge them as with any message. Some women perhaps find it a way to approach without messaging....and not such a hard fall if ignored...just supposing.

I got a wink for a change today, tried to check to see from who but after I clicked the "1 new wink" tab and I opened it....the wink disappeared and didn't know who it was from...

*sighs* ah well
