The guys are mostly time wasters on this site aren't they? Well tell that to me who has been let down AGAIN by a couple.

We'd arranged a midnight meet, they'd hive me their address and I'd drive there. At 11.40 I ask if I could at least get a rough location as did the want to set off now and drive in the wrong direction (I knew they were in Lincoln, just not exactly where)

I didn't get a response but trusted that they were just busy (they were online and my message had been read) and I set of anyway.

Messaged them again at midnight asking for their address only to get a reply saying 'sorry, we've sorted ourselves a couple now'

Fucking time wasting dishonest couples really piss me off! Just to add salt to the wound their status even says they are looking for single guys not couples!!!

Thanks ladies, however I don't think you appreciate how common it is for couples and fems to treat guys like this on here. You play by their rules or you don't play at all.

The game is one sided and I accept that but selfish ppl like this ruin in for genuine people.

There are decent people on here and I've done the leave now and get address later thing before. Most are genuine. This couple are gen too and have loads of good single guy reviews.

What annoyed me so much was how they simply dismissed me as 'sorry we found something better'

It's not a nice thing to do, but we have to take responsibility for ourselves.

If your prepared to leave the house with no confirmation of address especially knowing they read your message and didn't acknowledge it then its a risk you take.

Sorry to hear op, unfortunately there is a lot of time wasters. Personally I would of read the signs earlier, if they didn't give a specific place then I would of sensed they're not genuinely interested or are a timewaster. There's no chance I would of left without an actual address.

To be honest I wouldn't have even left the house if there was no address given but I see you say you have done 5his before so only thing to do is move on.Why moan about it you were willing to leave without even a postcode so guess it's take the rough with the smooth .And it's not just couples and fems who are timewasters. ..its every gender.

. I don't worry about either fakes or timewasters. If a profile is less than fifteen lines I assume that it is a fake . Instinct should let you assess who is genuine .

Glad you've got that rant out the way ,nothing like a good rant ,people letting you down on here are common I've had much worse and far further journeys involving hotel fees and travelling expenses ,sex is an expendable commodity and the desire to need it can be over in minutes ,no telephone number no go that's my motto

Read back what you wrote. If a friend said I'm going to leave my house at midnight, drive in a vague direction on the off chance of meeting a couple for sex who haven't responded to my messages, what would your advice be?!!

OP if you had thought for one moment with your big head instead of your little one, you would have realised that it was totally mad to set off for a midnight meet at an unknown destination - unfortunately, the lure of a shag will sometimes mess with the ability to think straight. Not that it excuses what the couple did of course, but YOU are responsible for your actions. Learn from the experience

I found when I was a couple that my partner would arrange a meet and be chatting for weeks ect (as if it was me) then the night before drop on me we had a meet. I would then be stressed having to sort baby sitters ect ect last min.I hated it, although I never let anyone down, but was never really in the zone for the meet because of this. Now I'm single I arrange my meets on my terms on my time. Much better.

I have little, no strike that, no sympathy for idiots. Who sets off at midnight not knowing where they're going, to meet people who've ignored their message, truly expecting a shag?!!

If he'd said they'd been in communication, had the address, he turned up and it was a nursing home etc...then yeah, 100% empathy...as it stands...none!

Sorry op but how many red flags ,warning bells and whistles do you actually need?? This had the out come destined from the start. If you then decide to follow that path ignoring the glaring "summit not right about this" then it's only you who's wasted your time!

The feeble "well I've headed off with no address before and it work out " doesn't hold water ..you were plain lucky! Unfortunately this time you weren't ... you can either blame everyone else and just continue doing what you are doing, or learn from it and be more savvy with your selection and meets arrangements.

I personally thought no address ,no meet would be a given ,but hey maybe that's just me . Yes the couple(IF it was a cpl ) were wrong in not telling you if they had bottled it and canceling the very vague arrangement.But you alone are responsible for the situation you put yourself in by being happy to head off when you had no address and no reply .
