Cold feet

Something single guys seem to suffer with and just don't know how to deal with it.

Mrs and myself was hoping to have a 3some tonight and the guy who was "more than willing to join us" has decided to ignore the wife's messages and now stay offline

So guys, when you arrange to be somewhere, what is it that makes you decide not to bother and just ignore the messages you're getting from said person you're supposed to be meeting?

Myself, if I arrange to meet, I turn up cause I count myself bloody lucky that some on here actually wants to meet me

When I was meeting I tried to never let anyone down

I 'let someone down' once when I arranged a meet and then received a phone call from my best mate telling me his cancer was terminal.

Funnily enough, I didn't feel much like meeting then so I told the other party who went off like a bottle of fizzy pop and then blocked me.

I understood the reaction but tbf I couldn't have give a shite what the reaction was right there and then.

When I have been 'let down' I always tried to be understanding.

A message, even if it dis seem a little 'convenient' was always preferable to a total no show.

East Sussex

I'm not sure but it happened to us a couple of times. It must be pretty daunting to meet a couple and I imagine that nerves will get the better of some people, a purely social meet seems to help but some men couldn't even manage that.

I met with a couple recently, was so nervous, but I could never have let them down. Turned out lovely. Splendid couple.

This has happened to us quite a bit. I've always wondered why.

Personally I'd be a bit intimidated meeting a couple on my own. This doesn't excuse not letting you know, but I can completely understand how the cold feet happen, especially for a man where there can be a lot of pressure to 'perform'.

Having looked at your profile I'm wondering why too

He's verified by other couples so didn't think there would be a problem

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I've had cold feet once or twice. I've had a bad feeling about a meet, or just not been in the mood, so have called it off. But I always let the person know enough in advance for them to make other plans.

Can understand nerves but ignorance isn't acceptable should have the manners keep you in the picture
