Has anyone ever met someone who plays mind games on fab ....

I had one guy on here say he loved me after the first night. I thought 'Uh-oh, got a right player here......' but yeah, still found myself sliding fast down a slippery slop when he went AWOL. Some of them are just very good at reeling you in, it's too delicious to resist.....

It's happened to me too, until Igot a message from another fab female asking me if he'd said this that and the other , of course he had , so we both dropped him and of course he squirmed at being found out

It's not helpful to bash yourself imo. But it is worthwhile to learn all you can from this and take decisions about not letting it happen again.

Good that you've recognized the pattern - so be commit to stopping all contact at that point, should this ever occur again.

ive found the ones that lie slip up then the games on them. I like to play mind games too. But only with ppl that think they can do it to me. God the lies ppl will say to get out of lies they have already told. I can keep it going for a while. Then work with their lies to play with their head more. god some twisted peeps on here

It wasn't really explained but we are all individuals and what is good for one isn't for another ,so of course if you have any substance you don't continue with things if the way you want them isn't happening ,some may see that as manipulation ,if in explanation it doesn't make sense to the other person , I see it as explaining and moving on ,we all want different things as a result of different circumstance eg some here are married and cheating without partners knowledge ,that incidentally is fine by me they are adults their choice but some very much disagree with that maybe because they've ended up single as a result of a spouse cheating ,some are here with partners knowledge and having fun we all have different reasons for wanting things the way we want them ,who's to say how OP was manipulated she's gone now but my advice to anyone is only do things the way you want and move on if it doesn't happen and I think most here do it that way anyhow

And even people you have got to know very well indeed.

Yep ! People wrongly assume that to be conned must mean that you're a dipshit to begin with - not the case at all , some people are very clever at what they do & not only get their kicks from it but fund their life through it with little care for the destruction that they cause to people who helped them the most.

Dating sites & swinging sites are perfect feeding grounds for these people unfortunately.

My line of work required me to be very on the ball regarding reading body language & people full stop ,in fact my safety & others safety depended on it .Besides 20 years of working with all sorts of complicated people I also studied psychology & sociology .

I still got conned-couldn't believe it myself ! Three years into a relationship with what I thought was my soulmate I discovered that he led multiple lives & that's just for starters !

So it can happen to anybody - nobody is immune!

They can, and the depth of deception can be mind-boggling.

Yes it can be mind-boggling your right and that comes from trusting people you don't know .

And even people you have got to know very well indeed.

Dating sites & swinging sites are perfect feeding grounds for these people unfortunately.

I still got conned-couldn't believe it myself ! Three years into a relationship with what I thought was my soulmate I discovered that he led multiple lives & that's just for starters !

Where are these unwritten rules elected by a select few of forum police ?

If you feel that strongly about your unwritten forum police rules why bump a thread that bumped a 6 month old thread ?!!!!

the same people that complain about it being bumped, would say "do a search" if someone did a new post with the same topic, can't win around here

Seems so ! Just as well that I couldn't give a monkeys then eh !!

I'm not a woman that likes having rules imposed on me or being told what I can or can't do whether it's freedom of speech , movement or anything ! I go by my own rules 'I do as I please & please who I do ' so long as I don't knowingly hurt another living being!

If I'm told I can't do something my usual response would be "says who ....watch me "!!! I'll blame the fiery bloodline!! ;p
