That's understandable I think it's key to know a little about someone in an ideal world but never be afraid to speak your mind..... What's the worst that can happen.... Someone doesn't like it oh well their loss. "I was asked something yesterday as a dare and enjoyed it a lot actually..... hey swinging....welcome..do you get dared often? do you enjoy the challenge?x I hate being dared because I just have to it - it has got me into trouble at times. As for bottling it on fab; I very rarely do this - if I do, it's normally about revealing my marital status as it can sometimes provoke a lot of negative comments (even though it is in my profile). hey flirt man.. hehe do you see it as a competition thing then? ahh the joys of past experience colouring the procedure into the unknown...other people influencing action..interesting xx they make you, they stop you....." I used to be a very good road runner and cross country skier so I'm ultra competitive - so a dare becomes a completion especially if others are given the same dare too; even if it goes against my nature - fortunately it doesn't happen very often these days | |||

I didn't last time, that's why if I do go back it needs to be completely different - that's the challenge - It would have to be going back to run forward if you know what I mean? Humid seal of soft affections,
Tenderest pledge of future bliss,
Dearest tie of young connections,
Love's first snowdrop, virgin kiss!
Speaking silence, dumb confession,
Passion's birth, and infant's play,
Dove-like fondness, chaste concession,
Glowing dawn of future day!
Sorrowing joy, Adieu's last action,
(Lingering lips must now disjoin),
What words can ever speak affection
So thrilling and sincere as thine!

"Daring to speak, that's my biggest setback in life. Too afraid the speak out and say what I really think/feel/want. The safety net of a keyboard and a screen makes self-expression much easier. Agreed easy to hide behind a keyboard but every now and again it's good to have a little bit of a daring attitude You get one shot at life don't regret a minute of it I'm learning. I have aspergers so it's a little more complicated than just being shy, but in the last couple of years I've been finding my voice, and I'm daring to act. yes..but valuing yourself as an individual just as you are, we all have quirks about us, that's what makes us individuals, and ultimately lovable don't you think? x Spot on xx Definitely. I do value myself. It's not lack of self-esteem that has been my hurdle in learning how to interract with confidence. I think a lot of people on here (initially at least) put up an internal ranking system with everyone else..there is the classic he/she is out of my league. It is a weird sensation when you finally break through that reserve and go...actually, fuck it. I am going to message XYZ. I like them, what do I have to lose? I was in a really bad place a year ago, but being active on the forums has helped me be the person I always was but never showed to anyone. Its an odd sensation for me to realise that people actually like me and some ladies who I would never have dared speak to a year ago are interested in me. I absolutely understand that, but I didn't rank people on looks and popularity but on intellect. I got over that pretty quickly and started messaging. It's worked out very nicely!
