I don't like cake

I don't bake cake

I do not understand the national obsession about cake and don't get me started on cupcakes.

I will just go sit in the isolation booth

I don't like cupcakes, too much icing not enough cake, all style, no substance.

You have an absolute right not to like cake

Made a lime, coconut and malibu cake this week. A success. I either make nice ones or pretty much have to put them straight in the bin!

I don't watch any of the programmes but like to get in the kitchen with the radio on and just enjoy the whole process.

I prefer savoury.... But I make cakes so I'm glad of the obsession!!

Unfortunately there are so many poor examples of cake sold, supermarket cakes taste shit and so do some from shops.

A lot of shops buy in from national chains and top cake makers buy in sponges so they are packed full of preservatives.

There are so many different types of cakes it's just a matter of finding one you like

I prefer savoury foods too, unless it's chocolate - which commands being eaten any time, any place, any where. Cake can be gorgeous, but I rarely eat it - perhaps once a month.

Nah, not faffed for cake either. Or chocolate to be honest.

But cheese and crackers....any cheese! Think in another life I was a mouse!

I like to bake... I'm not much of a cake eater though, I like savoury better. I bake on a Sunday and take it to work and make my colleagues eat it.
