Looking for some advise.

Bit of a shy girl in the 'real world' and I really fancy a no strings fuck with a guy in work, which I think he would be up for. (Don't need advice on not going with people from work thanks). How can I subtlety convey this to him?

As a guy maybe if you asked him what he was up to at the weekend and if it's something fun say something like I'd love to go there but not on my own and see if he takes the hint and invites you as I'm sure he would failing that give he little teasers at work little flashes of your upper thigh act like the weak girl and get him to lift things for you and touch his arms and say how big they are

You may not want the advice but I'm giving it anyway. Leave the sex out of the workplace.

Of course sex happens with colleagues but just be clear that you don't harass him or act in any sexually offensive way. Some men can and do find being sexually objectified at work just as distasteful as some women.

Which is a shame, since that's the only advice I'd have.

I have known two people who worked together get married, but I have known far more where it ended with at least one of them having to give up a hard-won job.

If you do decide to do anything, please don't do subtle, just ask him out.

But you'd really be better leaving it as a fantasy.

Well you may not care for it but my advice will be the same I gave that chap who mentioned he fancied a lass he worked with last week: Don't mix work and sex. There are loads of other people out there you can play with and if it goes wrong, you've got to live with everyone hearing about it sooner or later.

Times must have changed, I had loads of encounters with people I worked with, or met through work.

Clare worked at the same company that I did but at later time, we first met on a friday evening 'pint after work' when I went along with an ex-work friend.

I think the internet has actually complicated things as you used to just click with people or not. I'm all for technology and am a bit of a geek really but not sure it has helped with relationships or in a lot of other ways.

I agree with this. Loads of relationships start through meeting at work. There are 3 couples at my work at the moment. I know of others who have just shagged on a night out. There is no animosity between any of them. Why? Because they are adults & act like adults.

I know this is probably tongue in cheek, but I wouldn't. Had to attend a disciplinary hearing for a woman who did that to a male colleague. She was sacked.

I think sometimes assume because they're attracted to someone the feeling is mutual and act on it.

In my workplace there are about six couples who met and married at work. There are also a few more in relationships and have children. There's also a couple who met, married, divorced who still work together: no problems.

The ones that ended badly would make a horror movie. As for some of the cases of love gone wrong in the workplace we represent...lordy, lordy!

To the OP, just done hat you did before you discovered swinging to let him know you are interested. Flirt but don't be hands on in any way in the work place. Ask him out to dinner ... he will know then and will respond accordingly. That way at least you will know. Don't think like a swinger or fab person or whatever you wanna call yourself in here when you are in work. It will end badly unless it does so happen that he is in this lifestyle too. I know many swingers are in my work and they know I am but none of us mention it. That's the discretion part kicking in.
