I felt it too but it just sounded and felt like a train going past abit closer than normal. The other one earlier in the year was worse

Central

I've felt a few in my time, including from the San Andreas fault line.

Hoping that fracking doesn't take off much and influence more in the UK.

South East Midlands NOT

I was up in Barnsley when there was that quake a few years ago in the night. It was bizarre. I woke up, thought 'train? No, earthquake, must be!' and went back to sleep. Considering it was my first experience of a quake I find my reaction quite amusing!

My dog woke up about 5 seconds before it happened and dived on top of me otherwise I probably would've slept through it too

it's weird cause the first one we had here I'd never been in an earthquake but knew straight away what it was, I had the old sash windows at the time and thought they where coming in

I have never experienced one always slept through them. Shame as I would like to feel what it's like.

I was a couple of miles away from the Buncefield explosion and I slept blissfully through the blast.

you know you live is a earthquake zone when the tourists freak out that the "big one" has just hit.. and the locals just piss themselves laughing at you....

that was me in san francisco... it was only a 3.0.....

i have been thru a 5.0 in NYC (don't normally get them here... the one thing i remember is the rumbling.... and then the thought process...

the earths moving...

i'm not d*unk....

are you sure the earth is moving...

yes the earth is moving....

could this be an earthquake....

no, it can't been an earthquake.. i'm in bloody new york

so i must be d*unk then... or dreaming....

nope you're sober and the earth is moving....

it must be loud subway train then.....

... you live 2 miles from the subway sean!!!!
