I've heard that the gorbals are nice this time of year

But seriously what type of break are you looking for ?

Sun, adventure, culture etc.

Newcastle

Head for the Highlands...Applecross with the drive up and down the mountain [or big hill or whatever it is...] and of course Skye...

Or head south to Yorkshire dales...or get train or flight to south coast to a number of lovely places...depends on what you are looking for really.

You may prefer the bustle of another big city...take yer pick which one! Manchester London and Brighton are my favourites...or of course Newcastle!

Have a good time wherever

Stoke area

Hire a camper van and explore Scotland. You can't beat the freedom of a van.
