Blimey that's uncanny lol

I work 6 nights a week and am currently in the middle of sorting a ton of paperwork for our yearly audit.

You just need to make time to play too as all work and no play is no fun at all

I have 2 rest days so make sure they're spent wisely between family, friends and meets.

Not saying it's easy but you have to make time for yourself amongst all that

I'm in the same situation. I worked the equivalent of an extra two weeks worth of hours this month !

I'm the same too. Last week alone i worked 22 hours overtime. Sometimes by the odd day i do have off i feel so tired / exhausted I think I'd struggle to play! I'm slowly trying to find more of a balance but the workload is only increasingly currently. Hoping head count will be increased but that's highly unlikely. Feel for those doing the long hours too!

Over 60 hours overtime in last 2 weeks whilst on shifts is not great for the body, but great in your pocket

Got some free time in a few weeks and hoping to make the most of it..

I normally do 4 nights a week but I'm doing 5 atm to get the overtime in.

My goal for next year is to get it down to 3 nights a week working and still earn more than I do now lol

Yeah there is that it just annoys me when i do more then 4 shifts OT i hit the 40% tax bracket and it hardley seems worth coming to work for!

The 40% tax bracket is only for earnings over and above the the standard rate of tax laws not it is not on your whole monthly salary

"The 40% tax bracket is only for earnings over and above the the standard rate of tax laws not it is not on your whole monthly salary "

And 40% knocks your over time down to near or less than normal hours.

If I do midweek over time say it's only time and a third instead of time and a half, so if I'm in the 40% bracket if I do another overtime shift I'm earning less than I would normally per hour which makes it not worth bothering

Agreed - I don't get paid for my OT...only at quater end and I get time and a 1/2 back.....managers are reasonable flexible if you stay till 7 and you need a Drs appointment a few weeks later they will normally just offset it
