Don't you just hate being asked this when you've politely declined someone?

Never been asked 'why' because we always give a genuine reason.

Never had to ask why, always assumed it's because they were concerned we'd out-gorgeous them

Usually I just say I'm not attracted to them.

Or if their profile has put me off then I'll tell them. The problem then is you end up practically rewriting a profile for someone......

Hmmmmmm, maybe I'm too nice lol

No, I don't hate it.

It's a natural human reaction to a rejection - not just on here, but in many areas and walks of life.

If it bothers you that much, just block them.

Brighton - even Hove!

I always say 'you're too far away' even if they're in Hove.

"I always say 'you're too far away' even if they're in Hove. "

Me too! That's one of my stock replies. Not telling you my others. They can't be offended because it's not personal.

I always reply to first messages. No need to reply to any subsequent "why" messages.

Maybe something they can't change like 'you're too tall' or 'you're too short' would be a politer way of declining.

I just refer them to someone I know, when they're in Brighton, but definitely not Hove.

Or put them to work on a gimp, to see how they get on.

I know, just meant you can say anything as to why you don't wanna meet and someone will make excuses as to why you should meet them.

wanna make a topic about it but going to sleep in a minute.

I don't mind too much. If people ask why, I'll happily tell them as nicely as possible. Of the handful of couples who have asked, none have ever been rude.. I suspect that single guys may be a different story though.

I had a strange reaction from someone just after I'd joined FAB, made me glad I said I wasn't interested, soon met someone nice to cancel out the bad experience though.

I can come to you!

And when you say you don't accommodate they say I'll get a hotel and more often than not you don't hear from them again

We had this question not long a go on another site and it went like this

Can I ask why ?

Because you say you are VWE and Alice does not play with VWE guys (it does mention this in our profile )

I'm not that big

It says on your profile you are 9 inches

Well have not really measured myself so might be about 8

Still way to big sorry

Ok have just measured myself and I'm just under 6

Since I've started saying 'thanks but I'm not meeting at the moment but have fun x' I haven't had anyone say anything rude or nasty.

I'm totally using that line if I start meeting again and I'm not interested.
