Why are some photos hot?

Ok so am I being stupid here or what. How come some photos on the hot photos list have 1000's of fabs yet they are not that hot? I know it's a matter of choice but what's a girl gotta do to get up the top!! On page 1 even..????

This is not something I give much thought to. Its nice when people fab my photos because they genuinely like them.

Can I ask you why getting on page 1 matters to you? And that is a genuine question.

Idk, i guess people just have to see your pic and like it. Sometimes people like the least obvious of things. Many guys who say they like my pics or are wanking over them never fab them, which leads me to my next conclusion...

I think if you block males from messaging you then that helps? The guys who wanna meet me but can't message me fab my pics, that's what tends to happen with mine anyway.

OP do you really want to be on page 1? And for what reason? I suspect the women who hit page one get inundated with messages from men all over the place, so many they probably don't even read many and do a mass delete.

A combination of face and explicit often seems quite popular on there. And there are regulars on the list who are rumoured to accept every single friend request they receive, or who go on cam / in chat a lot. Otherwise I think it's difficult to tell what people will go for and what they won't.

I did get up there a couple of times on my old profile (must have been a slow picture day) but all it meant was having to put my filters up incredibly high to stop the onslaught of messages that I would never have time to reply to. Still a little ego boost for a few minutes though

There are a number of the top pics from club girls etc. and I hear it's common for girls in porn etc to do shout outs for Fabs on their Twitter accounts.

I've heard of people changing their location to central London just to get more visibility.

Finally, I think it's self-fulfilling, once you're on the top pics at all, so many more people see it, then you get to page 1 (which is the page *everyone* sees when they look at top pics), and that's why they have SO many more than further pages.

Exactly. The funny thing is, a pic of me wrapped round an over-sized rugby ball has netted me more messages than any other, and a man's shirt moreso than lingerie!! I think I was on page three for a brief moment back there haha!

OP do you really want to be on page 1? And for what reason? I suspect the women who hit page one get inundated with messages from men all over the place, so many they probably don't even read many and do a mass delete.

Surely the biggest compliment that can be paid to you is that someone has gone out to look, found you and sent you a personal message, rather than a simply fab of a pic of you eating a carrot?

Exactly. The funny thing is, a pic of me wrapped round an over-sized rugby ball has netted me more messages than any other, and a man's shirt moreso than lingerie!! I think I was on page three for a brief moment back there haha! "

Lots of valid reasons given. If you appear in searches as a single girl looking for men you'll probably get more views and more fabs as a result. Some of them are just hot. Some of them have an established fanbase already. Consider the demographics of who fabs the photos rather than how many since that may help explain why they're fabbed. Not everyone tries to get up there; they just take pictures they like and they get noticed. I haven't got into the top pages ever but I like it when someone whose photos I appreciate gets up there.
