My best rejection...

Rejection is part of life and so something you should get used to...

Most are polite or at the very least blunt enough to be respected.

But every once in a while a rejection comes along that's so harsh... That it needs sharing.

When I was 18 I plucked up the courage to ask a girl I had seen in a bar if she fancied a drink. She looked me up and down and said...

"Look mate, it's not me... It's you, your fucking ugly"

Needless to say I went home alone that night.

What's the best/worst rejection you've ever had?

I don't really have a rejection story per se, having asked a very limited number of guys out.

However, in high school I was a pretty big tomboy. There was a guy I had a serious crush on. One of my male friends said he would talk to the guy to see if he might like me.

When I saw my friend again he told me that my crush said I was the type of girl he would invite to their Saturday afternoon boxing sessions with the other guys, not the type he would invite out on Saturday night.

So I said fuck it and continued to play basketball cuz guys weren't worth the trouble.

His loss. Perhaps he was threatened by your tomboyish.

I dated someone tomboy like when I was in high school. She was awesome.
