"I sort of understand the words, but nothing could induce me to google in case an image crops up. (or rather I guess). But I hope it clears soon" It's when you burst a blood vessel in your eye. The white bit goes all bloodshot. Some of the pics are pretty gross. It almost looks like it's bruised, there's a purple shadow under the red bit and the bits that are white look a bit yellow. I'm just trying to figure out if that's normal. I might dive into the opticians tomorrow... bet they'd know if I'm dying. Today I googled if you're still allowed to drive with one eye! Haha... drama lhama!

"Please see your doc about your eyes - it could be an infection easily passed on to others. Scaremongering yourself using the web is not a good idea and doctors generally would only advise using patient.co.uk or other UK sites we use at work [NHS] and is/are most reliable. Eyes are very delicate and you would be surprised at the various conditions/ailments that affect eyes. " It was the NHS website I looked at and decided to bury my head in the sand cause it mentioned Iritis and my Mum's had that and they injected her eyeball! Freaked me out sufficiently.

"Yes, I have had this. I had it in both eyes after I got nailed in the face/eyes during a particularly bad skiing accident. The red in my eyes stuck around for about 2 weeks. It did turn funny colors, including a slight yellow tinge. I went to the doctor and he told me all about it. I can't remember whether he gave me anything for it (but I don't think so). You're just gunna look like a freak for a while. I hope you have a cute pair of sunglasses -Courtney" Much prefer the freaky look than the self diagnosis option.
