I got a Morphy Richards one from Argos...word of warning though...they come in different sizes...Make sure you get the right size.

Think I got mine from Argos was a tenner.

A small one is ok for two people, if you want to feed a family get a big one

I have a morphy Richards sear n stew. It's pretty good as you can sear meat directly on the hob with it first. It's only a cheap bowl though so can't see it lasting more than a couple of years. But it hasn't disappointed yet!

Mine is Morphy Richards, it has two compartments rather than just one big one, so you can cook two different meals at the same time. Handy if you're only cooking for one or two people.

Now you have me thinking about a steak in guinness stew...and spicy tunisian soup...and honey and mustard pork shoulder cooked in cider...lamb in recurrant and redwine gravy...

It is big

I have a smaller one too but it wasn't big enough as my kids insist on dumplings and they just didn't fit so got a bigger one

The cooksworks range from argos are brill. Although the first one i got i for some reason assumed u put water in it. Yes.... inbetween the dish and the element! I heard alot of popping and sizzling and then it died.

Have since worked out how to use it, and mine is now going strong after 5 years and gets used a few times a week. Mine is a 6litre one for 20quid.

Chilli con carne done in it is lush,uncooked rice......it sinks to the bottom and soaks up the juice and is just the best thing ever, rice tastes just divine.

(Thats now what im doinv for tea tomorrow)

Sure people have there own way of doing it tho, but the rice does taste divine.

Oh and stir it all till the rice cant be stired as it starts setting.

I love mine, a timer is a big advantage, or a timer plug. It is my favourite toy in the kitchen.

As someone posted earlier, get the right size.
