There wasn't a point for us, we met, we fucked (2nd night) I didn't want a relationship. We were classic friends with benefits but it just got to the point where we were living in each other's pockets and couldn't stop thinking about each other. I think it was about 2-3 months in when Paul took me out for the day, we were having a coffee by a open fire on a ski slope viewing area when he told me he loved me.

So I think what I'm trying to say is we never had any expectations it just kind of happened x

I honestly don't think I can answer this. I was pretty inexperienced when I met Marc, and I was also pretty set against marriage at the time.

So I don't know how long it took til I knew, would be my answer.

Dating (courting) in the 70s and 80s seemed a lot simpler than today. There seemed less game playing, less lists of criteria, considerably more innocence and I always loved it

I met my ex in a nightclub both aged 17, I saw him out every Saturday night for about 3 weeks on the trot then started going back to house parties where he was. One time when everyone was asleep we were listening to a cd in one of the bedrooms, I was on my period otherwise I would have slept with him there and then! I spent the night stroking his willy and rolling it between the palms of my hands like you would if you were making a plasticine snake! Later we drove to his house in his shitty red nova SR and I stayed there for a week without his parents even knowing because they worked a lot, shagged all day and night, showered there ate there wore his pants cos I had no clothes then I came home for all my clothes one day and lived there with him in his parents house till we were 26 years old!

Think when you know you just know! No games just wanting to be with each other, I think you can tell pretty early on if you want to be with someone or not but as you get older you'll meet people with previous baggage or damage from past relationships, can make people wary of wanting to get into relationships again.

Finding a boyfriend is proving to be a difficult task, fucking hate being single.

The only dates I went on were off POF and I knew none of them would last.

My two long term relationships started as friends, then a d*unken fuck, then another a week later, then after a few weeks decided it was a relationship

I would love to be taken on a proper 1st date!

Fab meet 1: laughed all night (2 years ago next month).

Fab meet 2: day time fuck

(Already besotted despite trying very hard not to be).

By the first proper date a couple of weeks later when I watched him walk (late) into a bar of a London hotel and my tummy turned into a thousand butterflies I knew with every fibre of my being that I couldn't ever be without this man in my life.

with some of the exes I knew straight away it would be long term seeing them

A couple have been short term before ive moved on

the ex was a blind date all we had seen of each other was just a face pic and each of us had a convo with our friends asking questions about the other person

she came with baggage and damage from past relationships and a history

she was the one I choose finally to settle down with and had another child

was left with the baggage when she went and best years of my life
