It would have easier at the first to not get invovled and arming terrorist to bring down the legitime government pf Bashar Al Assad under the humanitarian exscuses...which we all know, are false

He's been personally implicated in crimes against humanity (by the UN). I'm not inclined to listen to a great deal of what he has to say.

Yes he has, like Israel, or the USA who have been using chemical weapons as well... on Palestinian people and usa on Vietnam...

Funny because he is not the only dictator in the world but as there are interests in his country due to the geolocation... humanitarian excuses are found...

Why don't go in Arabia Saoudia who everyday commits crime against humanity... ?

We haven't "gone into" Syria though. All I know about it is he's a war criminal, the existence of other war criminals doesn't negate that fact, and as someone living in 'the West' I'm not going to give his statement any credence whatsoever.

Well giving weapons away to terrorist in Syria it is being invovled to me.

I am from the truth no matter who says it, and no matter which country the person is coming from...

It's not about what country he's from. I don't much care to be lectured by Radovan Karadžic or Slobodan Miloševic either.

I don't think it is. The people crying over the refugees are not the same people aiming the guns. In fact they're usually opposing each other. That's the beauty of the West, we're allowed different opinions and views.

He was elected. This doesn't stop him being a war criminal.

like Hitler then or kim jon un or whatever he's called..

Assad is a butcher, should we have stood by as its not our issue as he uses chemical weapons and barrel bombs on women and children..?

and yes our 'foreign policy' in that area has been seriously fucked up..

I couldn't agree more, my point is why helping those people and letting other die?

Is not an humanitarian war as they call it but a war for profit...

Gravesend

Stop bombing and gassing your own people.. Then they won't flee your country to come west .. And the west wouldn't have to be involved .. A lot of refugees had a good life in Syria prior to your crazy bloodlust

we let people die every day in some countries, preventable diseases, dirty water etc so yes any intervention will always attract a comparison about who do we try and help..

sometimes politicians get more 'kudos and strong leadership mileage' from some more than others..

look at Cameron in Libya, bet he wouldn't go back now..

all war is profitable for some less so for others..

Exactly, this is exactly the purpose of any war: profits... our governments don't help them because they feel for them but only and simply because there are interests behind
