Best- not sure I could choose

Noteable- twentyfourseven (the film that put Shane Meadows on the map) shot on a minuscule budget, using his mates as actors and some old dude he managed to convince to play one of the lead roles- think his name was Bob 'Oskins- he didn't do a bad job too.

28 days later- pushed the realms of what's technically possible with a small budget, by shooting a fair few chunks of it on modified £3000 Dv cameras (granted they used £20k lenses and recorded off the chipset-but.....)

Has anyone seen 71 yet? I've got it on dvd but still not watched it.

Another good film with the same actor is Starred Up.

Dead Man's Shoes is brilliant, as with most Shane Meadows films such as This is England too.

Quadrophenia is a classic, Get Carter, Italian Job, Scum as well!

And also another great film not mentioned is Sexy Beast!
