"I met lots of Bootnecks while I was serving, great blokes who certainly look after their own and those that serve with them. An RAF Techie got set upon by some local thugs one night, the Booties who worked with him found them the next night and made sure they saw the error of their ways. Fiat Justitia! (Clue to my previous life)" Its the tribal instinct. Regardless of what you do as soon as you put on that uniform it becomes second nature to defend your regiment or cap badge. What I ment was and no offense to anyone ..is a lot just go after them because of their jobs/uniform they wear . its a form of objectification.. they don't see the person ~ well they do but in a totally sexual way ~ as if the person wearing the uniform is going to be gym fit with rippling muscles, have piercing blue eyes, perfect teeth and a chiselled jawline....in a nutshell, tall dark and handsome....when in reality they don't have an awful lot going for them once you take the uniform away....
