Just wondered why people feel the need to state, they're not racist when they are white only ?. You don't see people asking for BBC stating it. "Just saying"

Also why won't fab put a colour filter, it would save us all some time.

The reason they do it to protect themselves from the i`m offended brigade who seem to think anytime you mention a negative _iew of anything non right you should be hung drawn and quatered.

I think it's because you can't be guilt of racism towards white people. I'm not 100% sure though.

hey their are negative people everywhere ,the mentioning of skin pigment in itself could be deemed to be racist I personally treat all people as equal until they show me they are different ,you are gorgeous in any man's language xx

I'm a firm believer of each to their own and not I'm not offended by others personal choices. Just a observation and as I see it a lot I'm suprised the website operators haven't put a search or block feature. It would just make it a lot easier

Yh but it's one way I can look for a certain ethnicity, doesn't give you the opition to look someone who wants a certain race. Unless I'm using it wrong

Maybe they just want people to know that they have nothing against any person or race in particular, just don't feel attracted to them sexually.

I wouldn't put "no fat or thick chicks please" on my profile but there we go.

Some people don't take rejection very well and so if they can attack people's preferences then they will.

The attack of labelling someone a 'racist' is a particularly hurtful one and tricky one (for some) to defend.

Some therefore try to 'pre-defend' the accusation.

So it would return results more in favour of what both parties are looking for?

I think this is very true.

And it also has to be said that some people's forum post's regularly contradict their claim not to be racist on their profile. Preferences are undeniably used by some on here to justify their prejudices

That said, people should just focus on preferences that include rather than exclude them

Actually I have seen profiles stating BBC only followed by "I'm not racist" Each to their own I say. Equally, then Fab should have a filter for body type because if you state you prefer slim women that won’t go down well on here. Check a post Slim Lady and you will see what I mean.

At the end of the day if somebody feels the need to comment on somebody's preference it just illustrates their own insecurity.

Of course you can. Racism is the treating of any race less favourably than others it's just as a predominantly white country we don't see much racism against white people.

in advanced search... its near the bottom where you can search by ethnicity.....

but if people like me decide not to fill it in... we won't appear...
