What Nice Thing Did Someone Do for You Today?

Just after work, still in uniform, I went to hole in wall. Rain started coming down really heavy. Standing trying to get shelter in porch area a man parked closeby spied me & came over with an umbrella & walked me across the road to my car.

There really are some nice people in the world. X

I think a lot of people are so wrapped up in their own worlds that they don't even notice other people to be kind to them.

Either that or most people are dicks.

There really are some nice people. One day it suddenly started pouring rain while I was walking to work. An extremely kind gentleman pulled his car over and tried to talk me into letting him drive me to work. He even said he didn't feel right leaving me in the rain while he drove off.

I didn't take the ride, I didn't want to drip all over his car. But it really made me happy that day.

As for today? Marc is currently in the kitchen making a very fancy dinner to cheer me up. I him.

I love being called a good girl while performing oral. Lol.

Back on subject I offered to help an old lady with her heavy looking bag of food shopping. She looked at me and said in a grumpy tone " no thank you! ". Ha so much for trying to help

Another time a different old lady hit the curb with her scooter at the wrong angle and proceeded to fall off and into the road. Without thinking I dropped my shopping and run over to check her then help up and half carry her to her friends who were waiting in a cafe. No one else bothered to help that lady.

I ended up with six stitches in my hand after a good turn went sour! One of our neighbours who is 87 was up a ladder cutting a tree branch and I offered my services. He was only to happy to let me. I started cutting the branch and one of the wooden rounds on the ladder snapped causing me to drag the bow saw blade across the back of my hand. Visit ti A&E six stitches later and a few unpaid weeks off work, and he even asked if I could try again when my hand was better as he didnt feel safe on the ladder now its broken!

Nothing nice today.

The only incident that does comes to mind was during the winter, overnight it had been snowing. Due to there being no public transport running or me being able to cycle or bike it to work I decided to walk to work. It was only 2.5 miles, I got half way there and a guy pulls over and gives me a lift. This was 4.30 am as well.
