Does anyone have one of these? I am looking at getting one as it proclaims to keep you cool at night. I already have a 4 tog super thin duvet so now I need to get rid of my lovely memory foam mattress as that is what is making it too hot in my bed.... Anyone?

I don't like memory foam either,,,,,

I much prefer the firmness of a really hard one.....

No but it sounds like it might be squishy. I have a memory foam and a 15 tog goose feather duvet and my bed may well be my favourite thing in the whole world.

Sadly waterbeds are out as I suffer motion sickness Had the 'pleasure' of trying one out a few years back

I love my memory foam mattress, it's still as good as new after 7 years but the heat is now too much.

My flat recently was double glazed and insulated so time to move on and also creeping up to 'the change'

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

OP, if you love your mattress the keep it and get the Chillow. That's a much cheaper option and it works.

I got through my menopausal heat with just the pillow but they now do a full length body version ( it wasn't around when I got mine). If you go for just the pillows then get two so that you can have one at your head and one at your feet.

Glad I've seen this as had wondered about a memory mattress. But I'm almost always too hot and use summer duvets all year.

We need electric cold blankets - like mini fridges. And deluxe version with aircon.

That will work from head to toe?!? I am seriously drenched in the mornings and having to change linen every day!

Due to a change in my journey, I am able to treat myself to something that will work rather than another 'make do' effort

They kinda hug you when you are on the bed. Was great while I lived in a chill box but not now

Memory matresses are known to make you much hotter than a standard matress...don't know about gel, but you might find a normal matress, without a heavy topper, and a low tog duvet is fine. That's what I used as always hot.

I think my body doubles as a furnace or nuclear power plant. Keep the bedroom cold and summer duvets all year and often too hot. But have loved mattress topper comfort in hotels, so would like more comfort.

I've found the chillows and also a local ish shop that sells bed mats to keep you cool. So I think I might be good to go. Sorry for rubbishing the chillow comments, I did not realise they did as good as what they do.... Sounded right in my head...... the heat is getting to me!!

It will work. I had just one at my head and I used to put a freezer bag gel block thingy at my feet when I was serior overheating. The one at my head worked really well. I can only imagine how lovely the body length ones are.
