I've got mates who love golf, football, gym, cricket, fishing and I've tried them all..binning them quicker than a used condom.

My latest failed attempt at a hobby was darts... useless and bored!

Need some suggestions before I become a soap addict!

What's all your hobbies?

I love to knit and read.

But for more adventure, we consider traveling to be our hobby.

I also plan on starting pole dancing classes soon...maybe I'll finally get in shape as well. If you wanna join me in class, let me know. That might keep your interest

Fishing for me. Not even about catching fish. I love being in the countryside, no disturbances except for a little Robin trying to back a maggot!

Hill walking in The Lakes or Scotland.

Rugby, train twice a week, gym in the day.

Even if it's just taking the dog for an extra long walk via a pub. Anything to avoid the TV going on. Winter time's a right drag!!

I don't really have any either but someone far wiser than me once told me that everyone needs three hobbies: One that makes money, one that keeps you fit and one that is creative.

Makes a lot of sense.

I also like the old classic...

Find a really weird hobby that needs shitloads of specialist kit (glassblowing/battle reenactment etc). Purchase all kit. Decide 3 weeks later you cant be arsed.

Leave all kit in shed to rot/rust.

Repeat 6 months later.

Flying r/c planes & helicopters - can be reasonably budget-friendly, to get started. Is mostly a solo hobby though, unless you join a club. Weather-dependant, too.

There's 1000's of ready-to-fly aircraft available but many fliers build their own models during Winter, then fly them in the Spring

I'd also say Archery but needs investment - good equipment is pricey. Could start with a club beginners course and see if you like it.

Buy yourself Rocksmith and a lead before you totally give up.

It's entertaining, you meet new people, end up doing some unusual things in odd places, hopefully teaching someone a trick or two and ends with a smile on my face.

Works for me.

That could be a new hobby, not sure how the chaps at my local fishing club would feel though!
