Just watching the girls sing part of Bridge Over Troubled Waters on X Factor.

The original was played at the funeral of someone very close to me. It always makes me well up.

I'm the same with my grandad

They played bloody bring me sunshine as the curtains went round his coffin because he was a huge Morecambe and Wise fan and he had commented once that's what he wanted playing at his funeral

Every time I hear it now I have images of seeing his coffin for the last time and I well up

Good job I don't hear it much

I had an x who died of cancer. He was a musician and I remember we were sat messing about, him with his guitar and me trying to sing along. He sang me a version of "somewhere over the rainbow" and I recorded it on the old phone I had at the time. I still have the phone and sometimes listen to my recording when I find myself missing him. Makes me cry every time

"You have been loved

George Michael"

Beautiful song

His version of Someone to Love gives me goosebumps. He sung it just the once in memory of his lover, who had died of AIDS. Even more poignant that he did it at Freddies memorial.

People often associate that song with his son dying but it was written for the film Lorenzo's Oil before his son died. The song he wrote for his son was called The Circus Has Left Town.

Aww I didn't know that, I think it's an accumulated of the circumstance and the lyrics that just make it so relatable, I think of people I've lost, xx

The one from 10-15 years ago that goes "I'm Luke I'm 5 and my Dads Bruce Lee".

Hated it at the time.

But now I'm a Dad to a son I don't live with anymore.

Breaks me in two.

Even though I see him all the time.

I don't even know the words, the emotion just overcomes me.

Don't even get me started on my daughter.

South East Midlands NOT

Unchained melody- played at a funeral.

I've had the time of my life- end of an era in my life and always makes me shed a tear.

There are quite a few actually, but I am a bit of an emotional wreck at the best of times!

"in the arms of the angels sarah mclachlin so sad"

You do know it is about heroin use ?

The clues are in the lyrics

I need some distraction

oh beautiful release

memories seep from my veins

let me be empty

and weightless

and maybe I'll find some peace tonight
