Ive seen an old bottle of cologne i want to buy. Its an edt spray but it must be nearly 20 years old now

They dont make it anymore so these old bottles are the only way to get it. Are colognes this old safe to use?

South East Midlands NOT

If it's unopened it's probably fine. It's usually once it's opened that the smell starts to turn. If it's a spray bottle they last better.

I would be wary of using anything chemical that old on my skin. You don't know how or if they have reacted in the bottle.

Try and find a duplicate elsewhere. There's some markets with Arabian perfumeries which sell the oils of popular scents. You can probably find them online.

Brighton - even Hove!

I think the original smell might have developed or changed by now, if not in the bottle then definitely in the air on your skin.

Used to love insignia, blue bottle, can't find it anywhere now though.

Wash a good fresh everyday smell etc
