little house on the praire

Can anyone tell me what this could be, the kids have found four of these in the loft, white balls bigger than a pea, smaller than a golf ball, look like cocoons, apparently they can see eyes looking out

If it's got a paper like consistency, then it's likely to be hornet/wasp related. Spider cocoons tend to be more furry

Ooh go careful if you move them, might burst and have hundreds of the critters running everywhere! Although you're gonna have that anyway so maybe best move them before it's too late!

It will just be wee house spiders, leave them be and they will disperse when they hatch. Some hatched in my bathroom yesterday, tiny things the suze of a pin head, today they were gone. They live in our houses quietly all the time and harm no one.

They'd hatch before the council got its arse in gear, at the stage when they're almost as large as your fingertip, there's probably only a couple of days left

oh, I just had visions of these huge creepy crawlies infesting the house. I want say anything to them
