In a moment of feeling down, I have got to thinking I must be one of the ugliest or unluckiest people on here, I suffer from the unlos bug, is there a cure

Effort, patience and responsible use of fab. If you're vulnerable emotionally or with self-esteem then use fab just for nonsexual purposes - when you're not in a run of luck here.

I sincerely doubt you are. However if you're feeling down, maybe this isn't the best place to be right now? Men get a hard time on here at the best of times. Don't let strangers on the internet affect you. If you need to, take a few days away from the keyboard and reconnect with the important things in life.

Not many people in this world are beauty kings or queens, majority of people fall into the average catogary but with that "something" it could be a twinkle in the eye, a nice smile, fun personality or a million and one other things.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss but your wife saw something in you, enough to want to marry you.

Not everyone is great at having their pictures taken, if you think they are not working to your benefit ( it could be a lot of other reasons) have you tried going to socials or clubs so people get to see the full you.

The only ugly people I come across are those with an ugly personality.

Mate, grief never goes away. I lost a best mate, 3 unborn children and my mum and dad. Life will never be the same. But you need to live for YOU. You need to love, You need to laugh...if not for yourself, but for them....

Mr lost his wife too, in fact we would hazard a guess that everyone has lost someone special in their lives, it may sound glib, but the way that you deal with the crisis that life throws at you marks you out not tragedy - unfortunately it is all too common. Hope that you feel she would have been proud of what you have achieved and the fact that you have not taken a cowardly approach and can discuss her.

That's understandable that today is not going to be great. I hope that nothing we've said has knocked you further. I've tears in my eyes, imagining how it must be.

I'd step away from fab just now and get yourself to a place where you're best nourished and supported. There are great people here but I think you would likely benefit more from a sweeter place today. Take care.
