Sounds a lovely idea to give as gifts. I would love someone to give me one as a gift.

Fruit of the Blackthorn. You can pick them wild from hedgerows. It's very tasty.

Turn left at the Singing Ringing Tree

Use them as gifts, as people love receiving homemade jams and curds - they taste way better than shop stuff. Just remember to label up your lemon curd to store in the fridge and that it doesn't have a long life once opened.

Brambles are for blackberries.

The best way to find Blackthorn is wait until spring, they have beautiful white flowers and are one of the first hedgerow plants to bloom.

Remember where you saw them and look out for the sloe berries from September.
