Lucky it was still on the ground, the pilot seems to have done a good job and thankfully no deaths or serious injury!

I was due to be flying home from there this week, but changed my plans and never left Europe. I'm glad I've not had that experience, though sure it wouldn't deter me from flying.

Pic on the BBC website of one fella running away from the plane. In the background, someone else is clearly carrying two items of carry on luggage . No wonder people got injured going down the slides.

Also, there are quotes from an eyewitness with the greatest name ever. Go and look,you won't regret it.
