a room - all freshly decorated and everything put back - some things thrown out - but knowing everything is spotless - been a busy two days and it more or less looks the same as its the same colour - but i know its scrummy

me too! We're about to move to a property that we have to strip out and completely redecorate, replace kitchen and redesign bathroom also add a room to use as a library. Cant wait to have a whole house freshly done its going to take months though

I'm with you on this, you know it's squeaky clean and unblemished / even the smell tells you it's clean

but then it looks wonderful - only once have i ever had a whole house done through and that was when i first moved in here after divorce - kids had 2 weeks off school and went to grandparents for one of them - i painted, built furniture solid so it was all ready for when they got back - so lounge is done - bathroom half done and bedroom will be done soon - the hall stairs and landing look gross now

We decorate the whole house once a year to keep things fresh just before going away on holiday. It's great to arrive back home with that freshly painted homely feel with everything clean and tidy as you walk through the door. Those plugins thingies add a nice touch too.
