You get or send a wink from/to a profile without photos, and the kind of text that is 'will fill in later'. I've received a number just recently, don't know if it's a new trend.

Have you had success this way?

I met someone who only had one torso pic and one line of text on his profile. He turned out to be very sexy and worth the risk.

When I was meeting, my profile was one sentence and most of the time I only had an avatar, with all other pics hidden.

I never struggled.

I find it hard to communicate with that kind of profile, seems lazy and just hard work from the start, in my experience.

Their initial message would have to really capture my attention

I think sometimes too much on a profile can be off putting for some people too though

It doesn't matter what's on profile. Men will always message due to volume on here.

I can see that some new users wouldn't potentially be as clued up, but surprised at how prevalent I've noticed it lately.

In my former era I used to message everyone who contacted me anyhow, and been positively surprised by many too.
